JupYeah events identity

An event identity for JupYeah’s Resell Library, a pop-up second-hand department store, using Y2K-inspired visuals and a notebook metaphor to express personal curation, sustainability, and playful discovery.

Inspired by the idea of a “library”, the concept reinterprets traditional associations of books into a more personal and contemporary form — a notebook. Rather than representing knowledge as something fixed, the notebook symbolises personal collection, curation, and self-expression. Drawing from Y2K visual culture, a scene of a flipping notebook with floating stickers was created, referencing how people in the 2000s collected and customised objects they loved. In this identity, each sticker represents a different product category within the store, connoting that visitors can create their own collection through exploration and discovery.

The visual language balances playful motion, bold colour, and graphic energy to establish a recognisable and inviting event atmosphere.

Visual System & Continuity For the second Resell Library pop-up — coinciding with JupYeah’s 12th Anniversary — key visual elements from the original identity were transformed into a 3D visual system. This evolution maintains continuity with the first event while introducing a renewed sense of depth and celebration. The 3D adaptation not only evokes shared memories from the previous pop-up, but also symbolises JupYeah’s 12-year commitment to turning sustainability into real-world action, reinforcing the brand’s long-term vision through visual continuity.
